Lone Ranger Pack
You come across a wolf den. A gray wolf that reminds you of a cattle dog breed of canine approaches and sniffs you. You both get acquainted with each other. The wolf has a mask on. The wolf introduces himself as House and explains that his pack started out being named after characters from this thing humans called a TV show called HOUSE MD. He lived with humans as a puppy. He and his pack were once apart of a wolf wildlife rehabilitation team effort to repopulate the area that ended up a success and that he and his pack were eventually set free. They then found other lone wolves and formed this pack, coming up with their own names instead of having humans name them.
Just then you notice a bunch of other wolves who you assume are from the same pack. You also notice that a few wolves have scars on them, some more noticeable then others. House tells you that the pack as a whole stands for those wolves who are going through a painful time for whatever reason(s) and/or are disabled in any way and will always do their best to lend a helping paw if any wolf should need it. We're always listening for howls of distress and will howl back and come to your aide if you should need it. We care about all wolves no matter what. House tells you to feel free to stay here as long as you want and that you're always welcome here. He quickly adds that if you should come back again in the future and there is another lead wolf leading a different group of wolves to know that the pack still stands for and does the same thing that the pack currently does now. They will be the offspring and will have been told the stories of how humans helped them when they needed it the most.
House knows that they will inevitably merge with other wolves who were also raised by humans trying to do the right thing by keeping their species from dying out due to human over population among countless other things. Wolf and wolf-dog hybrid fighting was one of which that had dramatically made their numbers dwindle down to the point where a small group of humans with a heart of gold decided to step in to try and salvage what they could of the remaining surviving wolves. They start a rescue center called HOWLING FOR A PACK RESCUE. It started with just this one rescue center, then many more were inspired by it and soon others followed suit, making many wolves and wolf hybrid shelters and sanctuaries for years to come.
For many of the members of countless packs, their long fur now covers their battle scars but the emotional ones still remain very prominent. Many still howl in their sleep from the nightmares of their past experiences with humans even though they are treated with nothing but warmth and kindness from the current humans that take care of them. The packs and rescue's mission will always be to be true and help those that are howling out for you out of the blue.
HOWLING FOR A PACK RESCUE CENTER INFO
Welcome to my shelter for wolves of all ages that are waiting for their forever pack to call their own. I aim to be an alternative to the enclave and/or chasing a wolf out of your pack, where you have no idea what happens to them once you leave them there or if they ever get befriended in explore by another pack etc. If you like this idea and want to support me, please let other members of the site know about me so I can get a good ratio of surrenders to adoptions. Without adoptions, I cannot continue this rescue so please help get the word out and/or look through the wolfs that are up for adoption to see if anyone catches your heart enough to decide to put in an application for one or more of my rescue wolves. Thank you for reading this! It means the world to me and those currently looking for their forever pack!

HOW I DIFFER FROM ENCAVE:
- You get a pm from me when the wolve(s) you've gifted me has found its new forever pack and which pack it is so you can visit them. Please just be sure to keep your inbox with enough space available so I can contact you with the info. If your inbox is full, i won't be able to contact you at all.
- I ask all new potential adopters to please fill out this easy questionnaire to make sure that the wolf they adopt will be well taken care of. Please put the link(s) of the wolf(s) you are wanting to adopt from me on the top so I know which you are wanting to adopt from me. Below the link(s) copy and paste the 4 questions below with your answers.
APPLICATION FORMAT (copy & paste questions along with your answers and the wolves link or links if you want to adopt more then one wolf from me.)
WOLF LINK(S)
1. How many days a week do you play on average?
2. Do you interact with all of your wolves or just certain ones?
3. Do you keep your wolves sick constantly or do you treat them as soon as you see one has an illness?
4. Do you agree to gift me back the wolf if you ever decide that you don't want it for whatever reason?
- After you get approved by me to adopt from my shelter, you can adopt as many wolves as you want a day. You do not need to have any pair bonds to adopt from me.
- You get to see the WHOLE wolf and all it's markings so you can make an informed decision on if you want the puppy or not if you're looking for a puppy. If a wolf has decor on that you either don't want or that is accidentally obstructing the wolves coloring or whatever and you would like me to remove it for you or send you a picture without the decor on, please let me know and I will be more then happy to do so for you. I only put decor on them to try and make them more adoptable in all honesty.
- You DO NOT get any
or
for giving me a wolf to find a new pack for.
- Every Adoption fee is the same for every wolf based on age.
- ALL puppies/Teen are either doing puppy training or apprenticeship while with me so they will be ready for a role. If you want me to keep a puppy/Teen for you and train it for you, that's totally fine, just let me know what role you want them to become and I will do it for you. All you have to do is adopt them from me when they turn to adults. I do not speed up the aging because the older they get, the harder it is to get them a pack.
- The wolves that I have will stay with me until they are either adopted or die of old age as they will be given medical treatment when needed. They will be fed/played with everyday 100% and be loved my me and my pack so there's zero chance of them being lonely while they patiently wait for their forever pack.
HOW DO I GIVE MY WOLF TO YOU TO FIND A NEW PACK FOR?
Please PM me that you would like to give me the wolf or wolves and for what reason(s) you are not able/willing to keep them and Please also tell me if you want to be notified to be contacted if they get adopted and to whom. I will see if I have any room for them and get back to you and we can go from their through pm on how to proceed.
WHAT ARE THE ADOPTION PRICES?
5

10

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE PRICES THAT YOU DID?
I chose them so that way everyone could adopt from me because I want as many people as possible to be able to adopt who want to and because the adults are naturally going to be a higher level then the puppies. I noticed that the enclave prices don't seem to go above 30

I WOULD LIKE TO ADOPT THE WOLF WHO HAS BEEN HERE THE LONGEST. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH HAVE BEEN IN THE SHELTER THE LONGEST?
Every wolf up for adoption has the following info in their description to help you make a more informed decision.
their original name
their intake date
the reason why they were surrendered
CAN I RESERVE A WOLF?
Yes. When you PM me your application, that wolf that you put in the application for is automatically reserved until it's either approved or denied. I always explain to you in detail why you were denied if you should be for whatever reason(s).
I WAS DENIED IN THE PAST AND SINCE THEN, THINGS HAVE CHANGED FOR ME, CAN I TRY TO GET APPROVED AGAIN?
Yes! Please by all means do as it would make me very happy to get another wolf into a loving pack. I will happily look at your application if you were denied and were able to fix whatever prevented you from being approved in the past. I am all for giving everyone second chances here.
I WANT TO ADOPT MORE THEN ONE WOLF, DO I HAVE TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FOR EACH WOLF INDIVIDUALLY?
Nope not at all. Just link me the wolves you are wanting to adopt in the application and I will reserve all of them for you.
DO THE SHELTER WOLVES COME WITH THE DECOR SHOWN IF THEY HAVE ANY EQUIPPED?
Only if you want the decor with the wolf. Please just let me know if you want the decor with them or not and I will act as you'd like me to regarding that. That being said, please don't buy a wolf just for the decor as that's not the purpose or point of adopting at all. I'm trying to adopt out wolves into loving packs, not their decor. The decor is just a "bonus" if you should like it.
HOW DO I KNOW THAT YOU WILL TAKE CARE OF THE WOLF I GIVE YOU?
You can look at my personal pack as proof that I will take good care of them, that's the best I can do to show you how well they will be taken cared of. I normally log on literally multiple times a day everyday so if one of the wolves should need anything, i'll be sure to see it and act accordingly.
WHAT IS YOUR ADOPTION RATE LIKE CURRENTLY?
My adoption rate is currently few and far between sadly for many reasons, one of which is because I seem to be one of the few who care about wolves with "less desirable" traits on this site. The other reason is that my shelter is still very new at this moment and needs more time for word of mouth among other things to help increase adoption rates. If people would regularly look back to see if I have any wolves that you would like to adopt, that would help a lot. If you happen to see a wolf that you have a good feeling a friend of yours would like, you can always tell them about the wolf or whatever and have them look it the wolf and see if they want to fill out an application for one. All these things will help increase the adoption rate and in turn give wolves their forever pack that they all dream of.
DO YOU EVER TAKE IN ANY SHELTER WOLVES YOURSELF AFTER THEY ARE IN THE SHELTER FOR A LONG TIME?
Yes I do sometimes take them in myself. I do this because they aren't getting looked at from what I can tell because there's no application(s) on them after a few weeks or so. I also do it if they have what I call "common or beginner" markings on it making them as they are normally not "desirable" at all for most packs for some reason to give them that second chance at a forever home. I also do it for seniors too given they are much less likely to be adopted sadly. I am not doing this to get wolves with "desirable" traits etc. I am doing this to help the underdogs or in this case underwolves that need a place to live. When you see "this is my forever pack!" under the wolves names for any of my personal wolves, they were given a long time to be adopted but I felt like no one was interested in them sadly and decided it would be best to take them in myself. That being said, I am always sad when I do this honestly as it mirrors the real world all to much with how much people only care about breeding and selling the offspring for profit etc. I am doing what I believe is in the best interest of the wolf and not for any other reason I assure you. If I was doing this for profit, I would be asking for more

MY PACK IS STRUGGLING TO GET ENOUGH FOOD TO EAT, DOES YOUR PACK HAVE ANY FOOD TO HELP US UNTIL THINGS GET BETTER FOR US?
Yes we do! We run a food pantry for those who need extra food for whatever reason(s). Same applies to amusement items too, just ask and we will lend you a helping paw.
I NEED TEMPORARY HOUSING FOR A FEW OF MY WOLVES UNTIL I CAN MAKE MORE ROOM FOR THEM, CAN YOU HOUSE THEM UNTIL I AM ABLE TO?
Yes, I'd be happy to be their temporary home until you have room for them in your pack. Just PM me about it and we will proceed from there. I will not change anything regarding the wolves while they are in my care for temporary housing purposes, you have my word on that. The only reason why I stress the word temporary is because I do not want to end up just being a dumping ground for people's wolves who don't care that much about them at all. I hope you can understand my fear about that happening if people should take advantage of my generous nature.
DO YOU HAVE TRAVELING WOLVES ENABLED?
Yes I do. I only ask that you PM me about it first so I know about it before hand etc.
DO YOU ACCEPT FOOD DONATIONS?
Yes I do as With all the extra mouths to feed we go through food fast. Please feel free to gift any spare food that you have and are wiling/able to donate to the wolves in my care. Not only are you helping this pack but you are also helping other packs who need food also as we supply food to other packs in times of trouble. I can't thank you guys in advance for your generosity if you do decide to donate to help others in need.
HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT ADVERTISING IN THE CHATTER FORUMS?
Yes. I do occasionally from time to time. I prefer it being more word of mouth though so that more players know about my shelter over time organically. One idea if you don't see any wolves that you like that I have up for adoption currently, you can always bookmark my den page and check back every so often to see if I have any new wolves that spark your heart. I hope that as I get more well known on the site that their will be a higher turnover rate of new wolves and adoptions so that I won't have the same wolves for long periods of time.
YOU INSPIRED ME TO START MY OWN RESCUE, CAN I MODEL MINE AFTER YOURS?
Yes by all means please do so and let me know about it so that we can help each other and spot one another if one should need something like food or medication for example. If you're already doing something like I'm attempting to do and I don't know about it, you're doing a great job and feel free to PM me so we can help each other out when needed. The more shelters the better for everyone!
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR SHELTER?
The show Pitbulls & Parolees inspired my rescue. You can tell by the fact that I have conditions that most other adoption centers here do not, mainly the completing the questionnaire for me to approve before I decide to let anyone adopt from me to make sure they go to a good new pack and also acting as sanctuary if they never get adopted out for whatever reason(s).
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THAT I DIDN'T ANSWER HERE OR JUST WANT TO CHAT, FEEL FREE TO PM ME. I PROMISE THAT I DON'T BITE! I DON'T HAVE A BITE HISTORY EITHER AND DON'T PLAN ON EVER HAVING ONE.
