Forest Dew Pack
trying to give a good home for all wolves.
leaning on realistic wolves, at least that have normal colors. not a rule tho. i don't have super high standards, I just want their markings, base color, skin, eye, etc, to match and look good, even if they don't have any markings or have very common bases.
puppies and wolves listed as "might keep" or "sell/chase once adult" can be sold to anyone who's willing to take care of them. this means no chasing before they're adults, no pupsitter fodder, nothing of the sort- breed and chase and raise to chase is fine, as long as you take care of them. I deeply care about my wolves and want to see them in a good place.
current plans:
- build some lore (started)
- write down wolves' names and such somewhere else so you dont regret your life choices later when they pass you dumb horse (started)
- get a melanistic pup
- get an albino pup
The Forest Dew pack aims to give all wolves a home, from the chased to the lost, from elders to newborns. No matter your body, identity, or personality, we are here.
Leader Fennel was forced to leave his pack with his mate, Coyote, due to divergences with his old leader. The pack settled itself on the Deciduous Forest at first for its resemblance to the wolves' home land and quiet atmosphere. Though at the start he fell to the same ways of his old pack, chasing any wolf he deemed useless to his reign and causing fights almost daily due to this, slowly he learned to accept wolves as they came and that being kind was most important in someone in his position. Some are still skeptical of his nature, but slowly things have come to stabilize.
He works hard to maintain everyone in line and to make sure all is well. He has a step-daughter, Howl, who he wishes to carry on the pack legacy in the future. Though she's reluctant, she understands the importance of her heritage and accepts that responsibility, specially since she's the only surviving pup of her other father's litter. She hopes that one of her many puppies will also understand their role in forest dew's dynasty.
The name of the pack comes from the first biome they lived in and the weather they were used to back home, usually humid or rainy. Coyote thought 'Forest Rain' was too silly.
The Dreamlands are a part of Forest Dew's mythology, of sorts. It is a place only the gifted can go, that is, the Leader, their Second in Command, and any other randomly gifted wolf. The leading pair has such ability due to the ritual made to give them their place in the pack. It is said he sky itself blesses the wolf once they're put in charge, and most have reported having odd dreams in the ceremony night. However, it is not a religious pack and no leader will ever force their belief onto their pack.
They are allied with the Lost Adventurers pack, lead by Muddy Mire and Silver Blaze. They live close to each other and have a friendly relationship.
note: any wolves bought or taken in to this pack will be well taken care of and only chased as adults. wolves will be chased if I lack space, resources, if they've served the pack for quite some time, if I wish to let them be found as NBW or if I have a vendetta against them for some reason not even I can understand. There Is No Guarantee A Wolf I Buy Or Acquire Will Stay Forever In The Pack.
note2: wolves bought off in trades will have a random backstory assigned to them, which are in no way related to their past.
