The frigid cold of the Arctic winter had descended upon the medium sized pack, blanketing the area in a thick layer of ice and snow. The sun was rarely seen, and the air was so cold it would often freeze a wolf's pelt.
The pack had grown used to the cold, however, and many of them enjoyed exploring the vast, icy terrain.
The caves were a sight to behold. The ceilings of the caves were made of thick, solid ice, and the walls were covered in intricate, crystalline ice formations.
They would marvel at the beauty of the ice formations, and sometimes they would even find hidden treasures, such as ancient artifacts or even frozen animals.

In the middle of the network of caves was a deep hole where fresh water was readily available to any wolf.
