Nightsong Pack
Hmm, it seems like the weather is starting to change...oh, whose this? Come closer stranger, I won't bite. Are you lost young one? Follow me, I'll take you somewhere you can stay for the night; I can smell a storm approaching on the horizon.
Watch your step, its going to be a bit of a squeeze between these trees. There we go, slowly now. Here we are; this clearing is the home of the Nightsong pack. This pack is still young, but is growing and is welcoming to new members and passerby.
Let me give you a quick tour of the place. See that cave there, set on the highest point of the clearing? That's where the leader of the pack, Echo Wish, and her mate Zero Shade den. Both are still young but are respected by their pack members. The den next to the flat, clear patch over there is the Gathering Cave, the largest den here. It is the home to newcomers and adolescents who have yet to decide what role they wish to take in the pack. Oh, why is that fallen tree there? If you look closely, you can see that it's possible to squeeze under it, for that is the Nursery, where young pups are watched over by the pupsitters. Over on the other side of the lead's den is the Hunter's Den, which is where the hunters of the pack reside. The small, cozy-looking cave next to the river over there is the Medicine Den, where the pack's herbalist, Fallow Fern, takes care of the sick and injured. And this last cave near, closest to the entrance, is where Thunder Strike, the scout, resides. Zero Shade is actually a scout as well, but he prefers to share a den with his mate.
Oh dear, looks like the storm is almost here. You can rest in the Gathering Cave for tonight; I'm sure the pack will welcome you. If you curious, you can try visiting the different caves and see if the residents will give you some more information about what they do. Just make sure to mind your manners and don't bother them if they are busy.
What's that, where do I stay? Oh, I'm simply a wanderer, guiding lost wolves toward shelter. Don't worry, this pack will take care of you for the night. Run along now, I can see Echo Wish coming to see who has come.
