What Lies Within

The pack of Perseids Eclipse spans along the Eastern side of the mountains in the lush grasslands below. The make use of the mountains, grasslands, and occassionaly the coniferous forest as their hunting grounds, though they have been known to travel to the plains when prey becomes scarce. They are the hub for many travelers, welcoming new faces with each rising moon. Many travelers even make use of Perseids Eclipse as their home, often returning when there are no more adventures to be had. Notable locations within the pack inculde:

• Axiom Peak: The tallest hill situated in the center of the pack territory. From here, all other places within the pack can be seen. This is where most members of the pack reside (including travelers). Rarely will hunters, pupsitters, pups, or adolescents be found here.


• Mesons Border: The valley ridge that connects the grasslands, coniferous forest, and mountains. It is shrouded by boulders and a single, tall oak tree that canopies a pond. Here, all hunters reside. There are usually four hunting groups (divided by personality), each taking shifts to supply the whole pack with food.


• Scalar Den: More of a barren ditch to the naked eye, the den itself is a tight squeeze between two rocks and hidden by the tall grasslands foliage. You wouldn't know it was there if it wasn't for the faint whimpering of pups within. Expecting mothers and young pups stay until weaning age. Upon weaning age, mothers will return to Axiom Peak or Mesons Border and the pupsitters will care for all pups until they become adolescents.


• The Waning Crescent: Flat, open grounds sparse of foliage located near Scalar Den. This is where mentors train adolescents for a trade. This happens to be where most retired wolves choose to stay so that their wisdom may be spread to the coming generation.
