Bear Claw is a pack that has died and revived itself too many times to count. This is the pack's newest land to hide in. They do not strive to be the best, and they do not intend to dominate the realm and have their name known as they once did. Now, they have changed goals to hiding. Stay low. Survive, and reproduce. There is little else they can do at this point in time. 

Most wolves within the pack will be grayscale or brown. It is considered rare for a red wolf to pop up among them, though it is not entirely unheard of.

Wolves here are known for being a bit on the odd side and obsessively gathering bones and clams and the like. They care little for violence, though they tolerate absolutely no trespassers unless the pack is low on members. It is usually the alpha's job to see to it that invading packs are dealt with, killed if needed. They may not enjoy killing, but for survival and food competition it is necessary. 

They worship the moon, who's name is Selene. When the Lunar Events began they added in a new celebration for her, taking it as a sign of good luck and that she was pleased with them. Now once a month they celebrate Selene in a fantastical festival, howling and dancing and leaving out crystals to soak up her glory. They dress their higher ranks in feathers, bones, clam shells, dead bugs, and other odd trinkets. Their sage - who doubles as their leader - will sleep in a sacred swamp every night and travel into the dream realm. It is believed that their soul leaves their body and travels a realm full of the souls of other creatures; the Afterlife. Sometimes their sages even mention seeing deceased relatives within the dream realm. Rarely, they can awaken from this strange sleep and have something from the dream realm in physical form beside them. 

Although they are strictly a tiny pack, with a maximum of 12 members so they don't have too many mouths to feed, they have a very large amount of territory. This can make patrolling a bit... difficult. This is usually why they move the den site every year so they can establish fresh boundaries in the area. Scouts are still forced to travel many miles however to make sure the opposite boundary has not been crossed. At least once a year, they must kill a stray who has wandered too far in to their homeland. Sometime their own scouts don't come back.
