Pack of Læñaranit
Welcome to the Pack of Læñaranit. We strive to be a compassionate and noble pack, following in the benevolent pawsteps of our chosen goddess, the Angel of the First Wolves, Læñaranit. We are defenders of harmony, self-governance, democracy, and justice throughout the animal world. We treasure peace, but we will not hesitate to defend ourselves and those more vulnerable than us. Long live our brave and merciful alpha and founder, Ticasuk-gale!
Home territory: the Denali Mountain Range of Alaska (although the wolves don't call it that)
(In this universe, sexualities are known and homophobia is never concieved of, sexism is never concieved of, and most packs are democratic, although they still have alphas. In wolves, names are chosen by one's parents, just as in the human world, although the names wolves have are distinct from the ones humans give their children. Each wolf chooses its own suffix once it reaches six moons of age, to signify it beginning its journey from puphood to adulthood. However, the suffix one chooses must fall within their pack's chosen suffix caste. For example, the Pack of Læñaranit only uses sky-themed suffixes for the pups born amongst them, and the pack Freya-dawn was born in uses a prickly/spiky things caste, which is why she was originally called Freya-briar. Wolves almost always pick a new suffix for themselves when they join a new pack that fits that pack's caste, although occasionally some wolves refuse to change theirs. They also relenquish their suffix when they are between packs or if they choose to never join a pack again. Their given name, however, never changes.)
