1 wolf in this pack may leave due to neglect!
In the heart of the northern wilderness, the first snows of winter had come early. The pack of wolves moved slowly, their silver and gray coats dusted with frost, their breaths clouds in the sharp air. Leading them was Kito, a young leader with kind, sage eyes and an untested spirit. This was her first winter as leader, and it had come harsher than any before.
Food was scarce. The elk had moved south, and the snow was too deep to track smaller prey easily. Some of the older wolves, like Flint and Wren, looked to him with doubt. They'd followed his predecessor, a wise old wolf, and weren't sure Kito had the experience to get them through the long season. But Kito's heart was steady, her determination strong. She knew she had to find a way to guide her pack to survival.
Night came, deep and bitter, the cold gnawing at their bones. Kito rallied the pack, lifting her voice in a strong, unwavering howl that echoed through the desolate trees. As they huddled together for warmth, Kito shared tales of her courage and resilience, her voice filled with the promise that they would make it through. Slowly, she saw the doubt in Flint's and Wren's eyes fade, replaced by trust.
Under Kito's leadership, they will continue to endure the winter, bound by their shared struggle and newfound faith in their young leader.
