Penumbra ombre pack
Currently in year 23 of the pack. Bryony is a sweet and kind-hearted lead, eager to forge her own impact on the pack.
Pack territory:
The pack lives in an old bear cave in the side of a mountain, the whole length of the cave is about 1000 paw steps. The cave is in plain view, but its well protected by the river right in front of it. It took the pack two full days to completely remove all the old bones of the bears snacks, they placed them besides the cave entrance so that they could be used for amusement and as a warning to any hoomans that come near the cave.
The river provides clean, fresh water for the whole pack. The water is high, but gentle and enables the packmates to find trinkets such as gems and bones which are proudly shown off to ally packs. It also allows puppies to be taught how to swim by the pupsitters and apprentices to experience various biomes to prepare them for their future division.
The herbalist grows herbs right next to the cave entrance, as it enables the herbalist to use the herbs they need as quickly as possible. The high grass protects the herbs from any critters that want to eat them, however the high grass is often trampled by puppies.
The apprentices have claimed an area of flat land where they can mock battle and pass on their learnings about the different divisions. Next to it is a branched out oak tree that provides shade during the warm months and acorns that the apprentices can play with or feed to hungry critters to make firm friends.
Layout of the den:
The main den is where the whole pack hangout, its full of comfy moss that is refreshed weekly. It then leads to the sleeping areas, the hunters den is located closest to the main den, so that the hunters can leave for early hunting patrols without disturbing the rest of the pack. The scouts den is slightly further away and right next to it is the nursery.
The herbalist den is located a few pawsteps next to the main den entrance, within the den there are grooves where the herbs and the medicines are kept.
The pack code:
1. Until they found their current territory, the pack are nomads constantly wondering and hoping to find a better place to live; occasionally they find a nice cave somewhere were they put down roots, but in the tradition of those before them they move on to allow another pack to settle down and create memories there. This was implemented by an unknown wolf from the first leaders original pack, and its traditions are still followed today.
2. Hunters and pupsitters must pass an endurance exam to ensure that they are able to provide to the clan, in return they are given first choice of the prey present and are able to vote on what a pups future place in the pack will be.
3. The scouts are handpicked from the strongest individuals and trained under the past scouts so that they are able to withstand the harshest of biomes and have the knowledge of their forebearers passed down to them.
4. Herbalists and scouts are picked from birth; however scouts may have parents belonging to any role, a herbalist must have one or both parents belonging to the herbalist role.
5. Guards are the leaders closest confidants and act like deputies; there must always be two guards, the guards are often from the same litter but do not have to be related. The guards are picked from birth by the leader and trained under them.
6. Lunar guards serve as confidants and assistant deputies to the chosen guards; they are often brought into the pack from other packs and do not have to be of a bloodline that belonged to the pack. The lunar guards are picked once the guards are weaned and are trained alongside them, under the leader.
7. The leader is chosen by their packmates from the previous leaders offspring; a lead may not have a litter at all, in which case the most appropriate wolf who is a relative will be chosen.
8. If a pack member is unable to learn the packs main language, a pack wide effort must be made to learn any new languages that would allow the pack member to communicate with the entire pack.

In the first year of Aysu's reign (packyear 8) she decided to implement a subsection of hunters called guards, the pack agreed and the first two where chosen.
In the second year of Aysu's reign (packyear 9) she decided that the sign language that had been created to cater for a deaf member of the pack would be learnt by every pack member. Aysu decided to implement a subsection to the rules about it.
In the first year of Laibhe's reign (packyear 15) she decided that her faelci companions [Ailill and Caelan] would serve as additional advisors to the leader; a vote was cast and the majority of the pack agreed.
In the first year of Bryony's reign (packyear 22) she decided that the guards should have additional help to aid their many tasks, the whole pack agreed and the first two where chosen.
