Biography
^ Made by me ^
It seems like this wolf has been corrupted by the Faelcus at a young age...
But she seems healthy enough to not pose a threat.
A.W. = Autumn's Whisper, previous Herbalist.
Status: Seemingly fine.
She was an outgoing little one, almost a little, too outgoing...
I don't quite know what the cause of her transformation was, the last recording of a Faelcu was in February, but even then, they seemed, a tad bit more peaceful.
Regardless, she seemed lethargic and tired, she napped most of the time in my den.
I will be watching her closely.
It is my duty.

Puppy age: 4 months
Status: Unstable.
I have to force feed her in order so that she stays alive.
This is most definitely one of my most interesting cases as an herbalist.
I just hope she lives long enough so I can study her further, and perhaps, find a cure, it saddens me to see this young pup suffer.
Signed - A.W. - 3rd Herbalist of Deorum Protectus.
Puppy age: 6 months
Status: Moderate(?)
She's been quiet, it's almost deafening. But to be fair, she has been quiet since the infection started in her body.
She's lost a considerable about of weight, the food I try to give to her often gets rejected by her body, but I've found some luck in force feeding.
I can see her ribs... Her spine, even the leg and cheek bones...
Poor thing.
She's been resting up, her energy very scarce due to the lack of food in her system.
Her fur is starting to become green, it's starting to worry me...
I just need to keep trying.

Puppy age: 7 months
Status: Decent.......?
Recently, its like a newfound energy spread through her body, that would be a good sign for most, but she seemed to have other plans.
Instead of fighting off the infection, she's been staring at anyone in eyesight, including me.
She did inherit those three eyes from her father, but there's something so deadpan about it...
The staring is so unsettling that, sick wolves request to be treated away from the herbalist cave in a fear that the puppy will stare at them or perhaps even attack.
... And that makes me wonder if she is, in fact, hostile.

Puppy age: 8 months
Status: Decent.
But probably in the most unsettling way possible.
I woke up one night to her gently singing a tune that made me feel like my bones were ice.
If my ears don't deceive me, this is what I heard:
"She is the one that whispers.
She speaks of pure truths.
She is mother, she cares about us.
She Who Whispers, She Who Whispers."
I avoided getting anywhere near the puppy or alerting her, the last thing I want is for her to take my soul.
I was not stealthy enough, because she turned around, her eyes glowing, and giving me that stare.
I was frozen.
She walked towards me, singing a newer, more struggled tune:
"Whisper, Whisper...
Hush hush.
Whisper hush,
Whisper mother."
I wonder if she mistook me for "mother", all I want right now is just to be safe and a good night's sleep.

Puppy age: 9.5 months
Status: Decent.
Her condition has not gotten worse but has not gotten better.
Did her body fight off the infection?
I tried feeding her again, but she still needed to be force fed, so she still had it, but something was muting it.
I decided to ask one of the immortals what could have been muting it.
The immortal, Smoke, thought for a moment.
"I remember when the Faelcus were taking the pups from mothers and replacing them, our herbalist at the time make a very, very stinky substance to fend of the Faelcus, and it wasn't dung, it was a mixture of herbs, strong smelling ones, at that."
Smoke's nose had wrinkled, clearing remembering the memory.
"My fur reeked for days."
I thanked Smoke and headed back to the herbalist cave; I had my answer.
The herbs in the cave are potent and unpleasant to the infection, and muting the effects it had on the puppy.
Oh, and I've tried to call the puppy other names other than "puppy," but she will not respond to any of them.
Except for "She Who Whispers."
...
I suppose that shall be her name for now.

She Who Whisper's age: 1 year
Status: Stable.
I made a stinky mixture and wiped it on her snout so that she's constantly inhaling it.
It's definitely unpleasant, but I have a good feeling about this.
She started to regain her consciousness.
She would never be the same as before, but it was a start.
I started to train her as the wolf to take my place, telling her to constantly smear a new amount of stinky mix on her snout so she doesn't return to the dark place she was once in.
I can finally relax, for I am retired.

She Who Whisper's age: 1 year 6 months
Status: Stable.
She eats on her own, thankfully, and she is starting to regain her voice back.
She is non-verbal most of the time, but can diagnose and identify herbs just as well.
Sick wolves are hesitant to being treated by her, but I stick around to reassure them that the smelly mix on her snout is preventing the infection from spreading further.
When I ask her how she got this disease, she looks at me like I'm crazy.
Seems like her memory got wiped.
By now there's no bringing back the old her, her once brown coat replaced with the green that the infection gave her.
The green does suit her nice, though.
I think this concludes my entries; I hope that it provides with crucial information in case this happens again.

She Who Whisper's age: 2 years 1 month
Status: Stable.
I am aware that this is mainly about She Who Whispers, but I think I should get my own section, no?
Anyway, my bones ache and I'm very, very tired all the time.
She Who Whispers, despite giving me troubles in the past, is constantly attending to my needs, she brings me water, prey, and gives me mixtures that help with my bone aches.
It's like that, even if her memory is wiped, it's like she knows that I attended to her daily prior to when the infection got in her body.
I'm thankful.
Perhaps she wasn't in the wrong for calling me "mother."

Note: This does not cure the host, but allows them to mute their symptoms and live a normal life if applied regularly.
Herbs needed:
5 x Garlic
10 x Carrionflower
5 x Tansy
Step 1: Chew up the garlic, carrionflower and tansy thoroughly.
Step 2: When chewed enough, spit the mixture on a large leaf.
Step 3: Make a bowl shape with leaves around the mixture, prop it up with rocks if needed.
Step 4: Gather a small amount of water from a nearby stream.
Step 5: Carefully add the water, you'll know if you added too much or too little if:
Too much: The mixture is too watery to stick to anything.
Too little: The mixture remains significantly dry and clumpy.
You should get a paste-like substance if you added the correct amount, if it sticks to your paw, you got it right.
Step 6: Apply the mixture to the snout or any area closest to the nose.
Step 7: Monitor patient carefully, constantly apply the mixture to the patient, the paste dries every 2 or so hours, the paste can lose its scent when dried, and it can irritate skin depending on the age of the wolf.
Storing: Place the mixture in the corner of the cave, place a large leaf over the bowl to prevent it from drying. (And to also not deal with the smell.)
On average, the mixture dries (with the cover on it) within a week, it is crucial that you don't make too much and waste herbs or make too little and your patient cannot get the mixture they need.
Side note(s): I find that this mixture can help with naval clogs and to identify if a wolf lost their senses.
