Mowgli - Mowgli always worries about every little thing, while Okasa always focuses on following the rules. Despite their differences, they fit together like puzzle pieces, each completing the other. Growing up as childhood friends, Okasa was always there to calm Mowgli's nerves and be his rock, while Mowgli helped Okasa navigate social situations and keep her routines in check. He was the only one who could make her smile, and she was the only one who could ease his worries. Together, they protect each other from dangers.
In the heart of the lush, sun-dappled forest, Okasa was hard at work on her favorite routine. She had found a perfect spot near a bubbling brook, where the gentle sound of water provided a soothing backdrop to her meticulous play. With a bright blue pebble in her paw, she tossed it into the water, watching it create ripples that danced across the surface. Then, she would count the ripples, her voice soft but steady as she whispered, "One, two, three…" and so on, until she reached ten.
Just as she was about to start again, two other wolves bounded into the clearing, their tails wagging with excitement. The new pup, a little ball of energy, and Mowgli, a curious adolescent, skidded to a halt, their eyes wide with surprise.
"What are you doing, Okasa?" The pup asked, tilting her head to the side, her ears perked up in curiosity.
Okasa looked up, her expression unchanged, her voice monotone as she replied, "I'm counting the ripples. One, two, three…"
Mowgli flattened his ears, squinting at Okasa. "That's so weird. Why would you want to count ripples? Are wolves supposed to do that?"
The pup giggled, but there was a hint of genuine curiosity in her eyes. "We're supposed to be playing tag or chasing chipmunks, not counting, silly!"
Okasa blinked slowly, her focus unwavering. "Counting helps me feel calm."
The pup, still intrigued, added, "Come on, Okasa! You can count later. Let's play! I bet I can catch you!" She darted away, beckoning her to join. "You can count how many times I tag you!"
For a moment, Okasa paused, her mind processing the whirlwind of sounds and colors around her. She looked at the brook, then back at her friends, evading eye contact. "But… I like counting."
