π₯© The Hunting Grove π₯©
The Grove: The grove is a compact collection of trees in the heart of the pack's territory. Surrounded by fields and marked by the convergence of scent trails, this place is where the pack's skilled hunters come together to plan their next hunt. Once they organize and strategize amongst themselves, they disperse into the surrounding terrain, only to regroup to the field with mouthfuls of their success.Rules: Beneath the lead wolves, those who have returned with the most catches have the first pick of the meal, while those with fewer catches wait their turn. As for the unfortunate group that returned empty-handed, they would have to go without food until the next hunt. This system ensures that each member of the pack is properly motivated to contribute to the hunt and work together as a team.
Ranks: Those who prove themselves to be weak hunters or poor team contributors have their rank reduced and their position changed. The highest rank is held by the Eagle, the lieutenant who is skilled in both hunting and leadership. Next is the Hawk, the sergeant who is often teaching the lower ranks. The Vulture, the deputy, holds an average rank, and is only allowed to eat scraps off the bones. Finally, at the bottom of the hierarchy is the Duck, the serf, who is often looked down upon by the rest of the pack. This system ensures the hunting troops are led by the most capable hunters, allowing opportunities for growth and improvement.

Individual Wolf Introductions:

β Argentina was raised by a pair of maned wolves named North and West, fiercely independent from a young age. Her travels took her far and wide, until she stumbled upon the Kafila pack, exhausted and dehydrated. In a nick of time, Zogarth and his pack took her in, nursing her back to health. From that moment on, Argentina and Sylvia became inseparable, bonding over their love for jokes.
β Okasa, known for her unwavering loyalty and dedication to her pack, is always precise and calculated, reflecting her rigid and disciplined nature. While her emotionless exterior may come off as creepy to some, her pack knows that beneath it lies undying loyalty.
CDB - Okasa has some similarities to dogs with Canine Dysfunctional Behavior. Predominantly speaking in a monotonous voice, Okasa struggles with sensory sensitivities and repetitive behaviors like digging. She may not always pick up on social cues and her body language can seem stiff and blank at times, like a statue.
β Miser Marvelous, the once-celebrated star of the traveling animal circus, now finds himself navigating the wild as a member of the Kafila pack. He often surprises his packmates with his remarkable balancing skillsβalthough the other wolves, particularly the females, stick their snouts in the air and tease him with nicknames like "pet" and "doggy," regarding him a Toolpaw's do-goody servant.
β Reinhart is an eager-to-please wolf with keen, observant eyes. His ears are always perked up, ready to catch every sound of the forest, and he is often eager to help. Despite his lethargic demeanor, he has a big heart, making him a devoted companion who believes wholeheartedly in the strength and wisdom of his leader, Zogarth.
WPW - Reinhart has Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, a condition that causes episodes of tachycardia. It's caused by an extra electrical pathway in the heart that's present at birth. After extending any energy, Reinhart is often left feeling dizzy and fatigued, making him less agile and active than other wolves.
β Natsuko, the ghost wolf, exudes an anxious sense of wisdom, inviting trust from those who cross his path. Adorned with delicate, swirling patterns that dance across his body, each marking tells a story. Natsuko, the ghost wolf, wanders the misty forests, his shimmering fur glowing in the moonlight. He is shrouded in mystery, unable to recall how or where he died. If he ever uncovered the truth of his demise, it will lead to a bittersweet farewell, as he would finally pass over.
As a hodophilax, he serves as a guardian of pathways, while his role as an okuri-okami allows him to escort lost souls and living travelers alike. Best friends with Enola, a gifted Soulseer, Natsuko finds warmth and companionship in their bond.
β Rutabaga, an eccentric, incognizant wolf, has a knack for making every situation awkward. Despite his earnest attempts to bond with his pack, his clumsy interruptions revealing his tendency to eavesdrop on their conversations leaves his fellow wolves feeling unsettled. With an uncanny penchant for picking up on their secrets and gossip, Rutabaga inadvertently becomes the repository of information that no one intended to share, making him an unwelcome presence in their social circles. The reasoning behind his obliviousness remains a mystery, leaving the pack both puzzled and wary of their socially inept packmate.
β Twinkletoes may be small in stature, but his determination and resilience are unmatched. As a runt pup, he was born with a prominent limp and weak joints, causing him to stumble and topple over his littermates like bowling pins. Despite being teased for his inability to walk properly, Twinkletoes earned his name from his striking white toes that stood out against his dark gray fur. As an adult, he may be smaller than the average wolf, but his grumpy demeanor and permanent scowl make him a force to be reckoned with.
Fictional Condition - Bambilepsy - a neurological condition characterized by an imbalanced gait and difficulty walking, named after the Disney character, Bambi.
β Melody may have a stunning silver-gray coat, but her obsession with her appearance goes far beyond that. This self-centered she-wolf is constantly seen around water, meticulously cleaning and washing her coat to maintain its beautiful silky shine. She believes her natural beauty makes her superior to other wolves and is extremely picky when it comes to choosing a mate, often considering herself too good for the average wolf. Despite her shallow and competitive nature, Melody's nitpicking and cleanliness is her way of keeping the pack hygienic.
β Renuka's world revolves around her mate, Melkedoodum, whom she has had an obsessive crush on since they first met. Her sense of identity is completely intertwined with her love for him, causing her to adopt his beliefs, ideals, and mannerisms. She constantly talks about her mate and her self-esteem is heavily dependent on the fact that she has a partner, making her appear conceited towards single wolves, intentionally stirring up insecurities in other she-wolves.
β Moussaka is a deep-thinking male wolf, constantly questioning his place in the pack and in the world. He is often in the midst of a prolonged existential crisis, overthinking every decision and action. However, his introspection is seen as useless by the practical, survival-oriented mentality of the pack, leaving him feeling alone and ignored. Even the pack leader struggles to understand him. When he becomes aware of this, Moussaka anxiously tries to reassert his worth.
