Kafila Pack
Welcome to the The Kafila Pack Den!
The Legendary Explorer (Leader of the Pack)
Zogarth, the leader of Kafila pack, is the epitome of duty and responsibility. He is a steadfast protector of the pack, always ensuring that everyone is safe and well-fed. Zogarth's calm demeanor instills confidence in the pack, allowing them to trust in his decisions.
Magical Secret: The Dreamcatcher
Zogarth is a magical creature reborn who embodies the strength and wisdom of both the wolf and the owl, and is seen as a powerful dreamcatcher and guardian. He is also a protector of the natural elements, such as the tallest mountain named "Nvda," the grandfather mountain, "Usgi," the mother trees, and "Adahy," meaning "fire," and "Ama," meaning "water." These elements bring warmth and nourishment, but also bring havoc and destruction if not respected. Now, every February during the Owl Moon, when night air is filled with the screeching and calls of mating owls, Zogarth's body transforms into the legendary Nvwotli.
Kafila Pack: Origins
In the year 1973, a European grey wolf cub named Zogarth was orphaned after his species was hunted to extinction. Luckily, he was taken in by a pair of intelligent barn owls named Tyto and Alba who raised him as their own. As Zogarth grew, he learned importance of harmony with all living things. One day, while traveling far from his home, Zogarth met a unique Arabian fox named Iqra, who had the ability to read. She had been shipped from Israel to the Great Smokies, destined to be sold to a roadside zoo, but swiftly managed to escape. Zogarth and Iqra became friends and traveled together, exploring the great mountains of North America.
Zogarth and Iqra's travels through the great smoky mountains were not without danger. They had to constantly evade fierce hunters and bigger predators in the area. One fateful day, while traveling near a river, Zogarth heard a commotion downstream and rushed to investigate. A young Cherokee girl who had fallen into the river and was struggling to stay afloat! Zogarth quickly sprang into action and saved her from drowning. However, amidst the chaos, Zogarth was shot and killed by a couple of buck hunters who mistook him for a vicious, bloodthirsty predator.
The Cherokee people, who had witnessed the incident, were distraught and outraged. In the aftermath, they honored Zogarth, recognizing him as a protector and friend to their tribe. While mourning for her friend, Iqra, who had always been wary of humans, was adopted by the tribe and renamed Ugganosta. Impressed with his act of bravery and selfless compassion, Zogarth was magically revived and granted mystical powers by Unetlanvhi, the omnipotent creator of the Earth.

The KP Universe: Extra Lore
Silver Pinecones and Gold Pinecones
The silver and gold pinecones, a currency highly valued by the wolves, come from the giving tree, Nvdo Ulisgisdi. This sacred tree is also known for its role in the Cherokee legend of the pine tree and the sparrow. The pinecones are not only valued for their size, with bigger ones being more valuable, but also for their rarity. Golden pinecones are considered a treasure, and many wolves will do anything to get their paws on one. In times of need, when a pack has nothing else to trade, they often turn to the silver pinecones. These little treasures hold great power and can be used to barter for food, shelter, or other resources. But for the Cherokee people, the pinecones hold a deeper meaning. They are a reminder of the generosity of the giving tree and the importance of valuing all forms of life.

Outsider Pack Friends: Other Species
The Parliament Owls
Tyto and Alba, a kind barn owl couple, soar through the skies as proud members of The Parliament, an elite group of owl protectors dedicated to safeguarding their feathered kin. With their striking plumage and keen intellect, they embody the essence of wisdom and grace, believing themselves to be the guardians of the avian realm. Unlike any other owls, Tyto and Alba have formed an alliance with the noble wolves of the forest, forging a bond that transcends species. Together, they safeguard the woods, protecting all intelligent creatures, big and small.
The Skulk Foxes
Together, the two foxes, Ugganosta and Rollo, dreamed up a way for all foxes to thrive in the bustling forest: a sneaky group called the Skulk. This lively group of foxes roamed together like a wolf pack but with a twist. Instead of hunting and traveling as a single unit, they split into smaller teams, each showcasing their stealth and cleverness. After a successful hunt, they would gather at a checkpoint called The Trenchโa snug foxhole nestled beneath the gnarled roots of an ancient oak tree. There, they would yip tall-tales of their daring exploits and share their catches, reinforcing their friendships before dispersing into the undergrowth.
