Biography
Reinhart trotted alongside Zogarth, his tail wagging with an enthusiasm that could rival a puppy's. The air was filled with the sweet scent of wildflowers, and the sounds of the forest were a symphony of chirping birds and rustling leaves. Reinhart's eyes sparkled with admiration as he glanced up at Zogarth, who walked with an air of confidence that made him seem almost regal.
"Zogarth, look! I cleared this path for you!" Reinhart exclaimed, bounding ahead to reveal a perfectly groomed trail. He had spent the morning pushing aside branches and gathering fallen leaves, all to ensure Zogarth could walk without a single twig snagging his fur.
Zogarth paused, raising an eyebrow as he surveyed the meticulously cleared path. "Uh, thanks, Reinhart. But, really, I could've managed," he replied, a bemused smile creeping onto his face.
Reinhart's ears perked up, and he beamed with pride. "But it's my duty to make your journey as smooth as possible! You're the leader, after all! A king deserves a throne!" He puffed out his chest, trying to embody the noble spirit he believed Zogarth possessed.
Zogarth chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "You know, I'm just a wolf like you, Reinhart. No need for all this fuss."
"Just a wolf?" Reinhart gasped, placing a paw dramatically over his heart. "You're Zogarth! The bravest wolf in the pack! You inspire us all!" He darted ahead again, this time to pick up a few stray pebbles that had dared to mar the path. "Allow me, my king!" he declared, tossing them aside with exaggerated flair.
Zogarth couldn't help but laugh. "You really don't have to do all this, you know. I appreciate it, but—"
"—but nothing!" Reinhart interrupted, his eyes wide with determination. "I want to ensure you have everything you need! Your comfort is my priority!" He skidded to a halt, panting slightly from his exertions, his enthusiasm unwavering.
Zogarth sighed, a mix of exasperation and affection swirling in his chest. "Alright, alright. You can be my delta. Just… maybe tone it down a notch?" Zogarth chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "Let's just go for a walk, okay? No need for preparations."
"Of course, my king!" Reinhart exclaimed, falling into step beside Zogarth, his heart swelling with pride. As they walked together, the forest seemed to hum with their camaraderie, and Zogarth couldn't help but feel that perhaps having such a devoted delta wasn't such a bad thing after all.
