Biography

Training:
Chasing and Escaping:
During the lesson: Fleet had a feather attached to the end of her tail, and raced through a clearing with Asteroid close behind. She couldn't quite catch her yet, but she got close enough to feel the feather tickle her nose before Fleet pulled farther ahead.
Bird Watching:
During the lesson: Chasing birds can be a lot of fun, but it took forever today for any to show up and Asteroid ended up being bored. She decided to use a different nesting material for the next lesson.
Hiding:
During the lesson: Fleet was serious as they explained that even the best hiding spot won't save your life if you reveal yourself too soon. Asteroid learned how to limit body movement and noise in dangerous situations.
Stalking:
During the lesson: Asteroid was dropped on a very crackly underbrush with a lot of pebbles today. The challenge was to make the least amount of sound possible and get to Hydra in less than five minutes, otherwise they had to start over. It was a very cronchy day.
Begging Foraging:
During the lesson: Some plants have healing properties, others can make you sick. Asteroid learned about common mistakes in recognizing herbs, and found she had a natural talent for it.
Hunting Basics:
During the lesson: Asteroid chased her first serious prey today, surprised that rabbits can jump that far and that fast. Adults made it look so easy!
Killing Effectively:
During the lesson: Hydra dissected the prey gently in front of the class to show where the veins and spine are. Anatomy lessons can pay off when trying to deal fatal blows, and Asteroid listened eagerly.
