Koskoda was adopted into the pack, leaving during Kayuqtuq's famine. He was coaxed back and has since been the skilled finisher that has gotten the pack through tough times. He has been known to be sullen but surprisingly courageous and imaginative. He is related to no previous bloodline. The pack has mixed feelings about him- some admire his courage while others resent his absentminded nature. Many are not fond of his sullen attitude, and he has made an effort to conceal it. He has a rivalry with Amanthu. Koskoda is also known to be careful and clever. He may not be fast, but he certainly is intelligent. He enjoys the company of pups and is a good caretaker of them. Koskoda fell in love with the much older huntress Ikniqpalagaq. Her death rocked the poor Koskoda, and he swore never to take another lover again. Kyveli has been chosen by him to be the next Hunt Leader when he retires, and Dalia will take his place as finisher.
