As the Pack Shaman of Dawnrise, Robin was asked by newly coupled packmates - Jackal and Ginger - if he would accompany them to explore the prospect of adopting a puppy. Little did Robin expect that instead of the two giddy females leaving with a puppy (they had decided to explore other options), but he would instead!

As Robin's eyes gazed over the Bears and their exciting selection of pups, he noticed a small, seemingly moss-covered puppy. Robin could tell this little one had great potential to read the spirits and decided to take him home to Dawnrise.

A bit of an odd-one-out, Mosspatch is a little nervous around his new packmates. Although no one feels ill of the puppy, many are worried for the little one since he was adopted by Robin in his twilight years.

As Robin's official mate, Secret tries her best to love the little one as her own, but finds it difficult with his quiet, amicable nature starkly contrasting with her loud, fiery nature. Hush, Secret and Robin's daughter, has actually taken a vested interest in helping to raise Mosspatch.

Although Mosspatch is quite the odd-puppy-out, Gold is determined to make sure that Robin's vision isn't discarded. Perhaps this little one is bound for great things.
