Phoenix or Songbird?
After Robin's passing, the entirety of Dawnrise mourned.

On the morning after Robin's passing, the sensitive and puppy-loving Appala went to donate some of her time to the Bears at the Enclave and their puppies. Perhaps it was fate, or simply her grief, but Appala was caught off-guard how special one particular little one looked - she looked so similar to Robin! But instead of the Mask, she had wings! Even though she was a mother to many puppies - both young and old - already, Appala couldn't help but bring the little one back to Dawnrise.

Although there was no denying that this confident and sweet little one had a personality and demeanor much like Robin's, many wolves couldn't help but voice concern because of how uncertain and anxious Mosspatch turned out with the weight of Robin's expectations on him. Appala shut-down the concerns by explaining calmly that she expected nothing out of this little one that she wouldn't her own puppies - and since Flick and Ember turned out healthy and happy, their concerns were alleviated a little.

Appala gave the little one the name "Towhee" because she reminded her so much of Robin, but wanted to make it clear that she wasn't Robin. "Kind of like a Robin, but not quite." is what she rationalized.

Towhee loves her name and finds it special - in-fact, her name seemed to have inspired her to sing, like the songbirds do! (Or try to, anyway...) Towhee finds that howling isn't much like the chirp of a bird, but she tries her best - birds seem to acknowledge this when she tries to sing with them and are usually quite gentle about it.
