I met pack leader and agreed to join there pack. I the first wolf to join them. then it was Intrepid there was one other wolf but *yawns* they failed the trail period and where chased away. during the trail period Pack Leader discussed a lot with a black she wolf whome of which didn't bother talking to anyone back pack leader. I can only guess my her entire display she was and probably still is of WAY higher rank than pack leader. Especially since she told pack leader what to do and called her by her name and rank. Pack leader assigned to be in the same hunting party as Beta and Intrepid. this is gonna be a lot of effort but it means we eat at least.

Pack leader and the black she wolf are talking again. yeah the she wolf is definitely way stronger than pack leader and of WAY higher rank. pack leader reassigned me from the hunting party to the role of scout. Pack leader said that she had noticed my observational skills and decided that I would be perfect for this role. Pack leader was not wrong this is truly the best role. Mainly in the fact that I ain't running like a Jabber nut after some bird but can instead just stroll and take my time.

Pack leader and the black she wolf where talking today and alpha for long periods of time.
Pack Leader came back with a wolf then chased them and brought back another. the other wolf didn't even get a trial. second wolf was apparently very pleasing to Pack Leader as after only 3 hours. Pack Leader discussed with the black she wolf and then called a meeting. It turned out to be an assignment ceremony a bestowed upon the new wolf the name Ancillary and the role of Pup Sitter. That is a lot of trust for a wolf who didn't have a trail period. but we don't have any pups so it is not my problem.
Oh. I see. Beta was impregnated by Intrepid. due to similar coats or something. Beta only really did so because Pack leader couldn't do so with how much she kept getting injured or something. Pack leader could have chosen a better stud for it. Due to Intrepid being a lower rank and there being a pup sitter. Intrepid won't be allowed to see them until after they are weened. after they bread the black she wolf did SOMETHING with beta that made her give birth immediately. Beta is okay thankfully... ... not like I could have done something if she wasn't and when I asked sanguine they said the pups smelled perfectly healthy. I am only worried because these are the packs pups of course. nothing else.

By this time I have fully scouted both grasslands and the mountains and put 3 new lands on the marker. the Prairie, Riparian Woodland and the Coniferous Forest. I got injured and lost 5hp running away from another wolf pack but that was about it.

We got all got called together for a pack meeting which turned out to be a weening ceremony for the Beta's pups. Phanterpid and Intrasma where given the role of scout and chaser. I got assigned Phanterpid as my apprentice by default of being the only scout in the pack. the experience I have scouting being a bonus that will really come in handy outside of scouting now.
