Personality

Solar was born with a rare form of magic. She can harness the energy of the sun. Solar magic tends to be more destructive and flashy. It can be unpredictable, and will sometimes take over the user and send them into a rage. Its users are often referred to as dragons due to their ability to breathe fire. In battle or during hunts, she has been known to burn her enemies alive.
Despite this, Solar also has a gentler side and an affinity with plants. She often finds that, if she lays in the grass, flowers will begin to sprout up next to her. Odin is very fond of her, as she often brings him the herbs that gravitate towards her.
Her magic goes hand in hand with Lunar's. When she falls into a deep slumber, she is able to light a flame that gives Lunar her energy back and allows her to continue on. In turn, Lunar helps calm her down when she loses control.

Backstory

Solar was the second wolf born from the union of the sun and moon. Orion spent a long time searching for Solar, but he could never find her. He tried to ask the moon, but she gave him no guidance. Instead, she came to him herself.
When she was born, her parents loved and welcomed her. However, some of her pack grew wary and suspicious. Her footsteps left embers, and her puppy naps in the sun caused her fur to crackle with a fire that never hurt her. She was a strange. Far too strange. Almost certainly dangerous.
One night, she wandered away from her sleeping pupsitter. She glanced up at the waning moon. Then her breath ripped from her lungs and her ribs screamed with pain. She realised she was on the ground. Surrounded by wolves. They were fully grown and growling. She was only a pup. She whined and howled. Her snout was clamped down by one of the wolves. One of her eyes was pressed into the dirt, and the other — one moment she saw a drooling, toothy mouth; then nothing. Only more pain. Distantly, she heard a crunch of someone eating.
She reacted in panic. She coughed up a stream of fire that caused the wolves to flee, whining. It burned the back of her throat like vomit.
She didn't stick around to see what would happen after that. She sprinted into the night. She didn't know where she was going, but something told her to run towards the trees and into the forest. Her heart was her guide. It told her to find the white wolf, and to trust her. It drew her closer to Lunar.
Eventually her heart beat so fast that she had to rest. She flopped down in Earthshine's territory, panting. She didn't care what happened to her then. If the wolves in this pack tried to kill her, so be it. At least she'd tried to escape. She was too exhausted to do anymore.
Lunar found her first, and her panicked heart began to slow when she saw the white wolf. She flinched away when Lunar approached, but then gave in. She let Lunar lick the wound where her eye used to be. Then she left, and returned with Odin and Orion. She was home, the three told her. She was home and cared for.
