Ruhe-Yin

Ruhe-Yin (尹如鹤, pronounced: yīn rúhè) should have been a prince. He was the eldest son, cherished by his pack, and raised from birth to rule. But his pack was at war.

He could still remember that cloudy spring evening. The early rains had just begun a few days prior, and the air was wild with the scents of new plants. The trees had recovered their leaves, and the birds in them were quiet. And then paws began thumping away at the earth, breaking the silence into barks and growls.
