Moonfeather Moonfeather nodded hesitantly. "Okay, I'll come back. I never meant to leave permanently, just until I could find a place for Copper. I didn't think it would cause so much damage. If Stagcall wants to punish me, then so be it. I did everything for a good cause, and so did Silverbloom." Moonfeather meowed, her heart pounding. She meant all what she said, and she never meant for anything bad to happen. All of this was her fault, she brought Copper back, she found Copper in the first place! "I'm sorry for everything I've done. I'll go back, and I hope Silverbloom will do the same." Moonfeather said, apologizing. |

Silverbloom Now dusk, Silverbloom wondered how long she could keep this up. She was exhausted, and starving. Finding an abandoned burrow, now stale with fox, she dragged herself in. Now in safety, she quickly fell asleep. How would she find food? She couldn't hunt. Berries? Leftovers from foxes? Kittypet food? The very thought disgusted her. Never. Not even if she was starving. Drifting into sleep, her worries faded away, like mist on a sunny day. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather felt himself relax now that he saw that the she-cat had understood what she had done. He was worried they would both be aggressive, defensive, and impossible to reason with. Now, he felt a little bad, seeing the anxiety and sadness in Moonfeather's wide eyes. "It's not your fault," he mewed more softly at her, "everyone has made mistakes in this situation. But it's important you help us get Silverbloom back... I don't think Stagcall will punish you too harshly if I help explain your case-" maybe he was being a little optimistic, but it couldn't hurt too much "-and I will personally help you with Copper. I don't want to see her die out in the wilderness, and I think your emotions were rooted in a good cause, you just needed to apply a little more common sense." He tries to become more friendly at the end, indicating he's gently joking with her and making her more comfortable. |

Moonfeather A smile escaped Moonfeather's lips at Pigeonfeather's remark. "I suppose I did act too impulsive about the matter. But, Pigeonfeather, Silverbloom might not want to come back, it would take quite a lot to convince her." Moonfeather said, worriedly looking out to where her friend had run off. She hoped the silver she-cat would be okay. "Maybe we should head back, explain everything to Stagcall, then go looking after her?" the gray tabby suggested, "Give some time for Silverbloom to calm down?" |

🪶 Kestrelheart Kestrelheart's eyes widened slightly at Pigeonfeather's outburst. She knew that the tom was frustrated, too, but she had no clue it was comparable to her anger. But her eyes quickly softened as she saw just how passionate he was about keeping the 'clan' together. She understood how he felt, and she was glad to hear all of his thoughts on it, even if the words weren't directed to her. After that point, she simply listened to the two conversing back and forth, occasionally gently nodding to some of the things that were said. She could admit that she felt relieved when Moonfeather said she would be returning to the camp, but that relief was short lived once she heard what she said on Silverbloom's half. Gently digging her claws of one paw into the grass, she looked up at the fiery sky, and then to Pigeonfeather, waiting for what he would say back. - - - 🖤 Ravenpaw Ravenpaw didn't really have to let his eyes adjust to the space behind the waterfall once he stepped in, thanks to the glittering reflections filling the small cavern of sorts. Instantly, he felt an otherworldly presence, and he stared into one of the reflections. His eyes were definitely not looking back at him, but they held no malice in their twinkling gaze. He kept this location stored in his memory. For now, his attention was torn away as he heard a meek voice speak up from the middle of the area. A small calico cat was practically pleading for mercy before him. Was this the loner causing so much trouble? A near-kit? The fur on his shoulders stood up against his will. The almost murderous glare from Silverbloom still burned in his mind. He wanted nothing to do with this cat, but he couldn't exactly turn and leave now. He assumed that it was his job to retrieve her. "I won't hurt you," he said, still in his usual quiet voice, but he had turned slightly monotone due to the war raging in his mind. "I'm just here to get you out from behind this waterfall. I don't know too much about what happened with you, but I believe the leader of our group would like to have a... do-over with you. I'm sorry for what's happened previously... I can tell you that there won't be any more aggression involved." Can I tell her that, he thought, forcing his tail to stay still, if my own thoughts aren't purely tranquil? Then, her mention of healing the group caused his ears to perk before quickly going back to where they had been. "I am the medicine cat, so I handle all of the injuries. I don't believe that will be necessary." |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather took yet another steadying breath, relieved at hearing that Moonfeather would be returning. "I think you're right, Moonfeather, that's an excellent suggestion. Silverbloom probably needs some time to herself to think on her choices and to allow Stagcall to cool off...I hope she returns to the Clan safe and sound, though. I'm at least glad we have you back, though," he said, relief evident in his mew. As they turned to leave, Pigeonfeather padded up beside Kestrelheart. "You've been awfully quiet," he mewed in a friendly tone, "is everything alright? I'd always like to hear your thoughts on the situation, I think you've got some really valuable input. How do you think I handled that? Was I too harsh on Moonfeather?" A modicum of anxiety entered his voice at the last question. |

🪶 Kestrelheart Kestrelheart managed a gentle smile as Pigeonfeather essentially wrapped up the conversation, and she left the grass alone, instead lightly skimming her tail against the ground as they turned around. Her ears angled towards the grey tom as he moved beside her, and she turned her head to look at him upon hearing his initial comment, giving him another smile. It was nice to know that he noticed, but she believed that she didn't have much to tell him. "Oh, I'm okay. I think," she chuckled. "It's just... a good bit to process. Us three -- me, you, and Ravenpaw -- were all practically thrust into this. All of the information's come crashing down on us, but we still have to keep cool, to the best of our abilities. It's hard when our group is cracking," she eventually allowed her voice to soften at the end, swallowing hard. "But... I'm glad to see it's going well, at least. No one got hurt." Kestrelheart lifted her eyes back up to grin at Pigeonfeather at his following words, and she gently bumped her shoulder against his. "I think you did great. Much better than I think I would have. You had a big responsibility, leading this patrol, but you still managed to stay fairly level-headed, even after your expression. I don't think you were too harsh, honestly. I think you said everything perfectly, especially the follow up. Good job," she added with a playful glint in her eyes, reassuringly brushing her tail against his flank afterwards. |

Pigeonfeather Pigeonfeather nodded at Kestrelheart's words, watching her speak. "Yeah, that ended with far less bloodshed than it could have. I'm grateful for that as well...and I'm glad you thought I did good. That means a lot. I couldn't have done it without your support, you're a really helpful presence" he said, voice clouding with embarrassment at the end as he bumped his shoulder into hers in return, waving his tail. He cleared his throat and added, "So...should we go get Copper and Ravenpaw, or just head back to the camp?" After a moment, he included Moonfeather in this question. |

Moonfeather "I"m not sure how Stagcall would feel if we left Ravenpaw, but I do know he wouldn't like Copper at the camp. So maybe just Ravenpaw? I'm sure Copper can fend for herself for a while." But while Moonfeather said that, she had doubts. She wasn't sure if Copper would survive on her own again. "What do you think, Kestrelheart?" she asked the she-cat, wanting to hear her opinion. |

🪶 Kestrelheart Kestrelheart chuckled gently at Pigeonfeather's returned bump, and she grinned at his hint of embarrassment. She was glad to know how he viewed her. It made her smile more than just on the outside. Then, as she heard the question, she didn't even have to think about an answer. "We are not leaving Ravenpaw, that much is known," she established, her expression turning worried. "And the thing about Stagcall… you're right. It would probably be best to keep her from coming into the camp right now…" |
