I'm not sure if they can mutate or not but, I think I've got all the info for now.
- Sprouting
- Daytime
- Night
  - Flickering Lunar Violet Seed.

Gotten from the Coniferous Forest Dreamlands. - That's where I got it at least, figure I should clarify that.
Night only harvest plant.

Flickering Lunar Violet: Purple Mutation - Almost a 2 hour grow time, at 1 hour 54 minutes at level 20 gardening.

Can anyone post the text for the encounter for getting the lunar flower seeds? I heard the options are 'harvest' and 'study.' Which option should we attempt?

@Nox(rolling) I got mine from harvesting, I didn't get the chance to check study yet.

@Ryuukokoro I chose harvest & It said something along the lines of that I was able to get 1 seed before the plant crumbled.  Though I'll see if I can actually get the exact info after rollover. 		Ironbeast

I just posted this in the Event Chatter forum We Are Farmers!

Just stumbled across Lunar plants growing in the Desert, chose Try to Harvest, & nabbed 1 Lunar Orchid seed.

    Well if it looks like one, surely it can be harvested? You try to gently harvest it, and manage to trap just one seed before the plant crumbles into lunar dust. Success! You got 1x Lunar Orchid Seeds!

Planted it immediately.


Don't have any pics of the plant.
