I'm British and that sounds disgusting. Welp! At least you tried it. You're braver than me. Though, I luckily don't have any dietary restrictions, so avoiding abhorrent-sounding food is probably easier.

Amazing family. Olive oil + Salt + Ice cream = Disaster. Honestly, might of tried it if you told me the salt were the tiny sugar sprinkles-

Apparently it's an Italian thing? Where ever it came from, they can have it all. I'll share. XD
Second strangest thing was probably sea urchin. My boss brought in a seafood shipment from Maine and let the employees try it. Not bad but it's pretty salty, almost like a chewier raw calamari/squid doused in salt.
Seafood doesn't trigger my condition thankfully.

edit:
@Waffle
Tiny spiky danger sprinkles.

Yes :D Tiny, spiky, dagger, salty, definitely-sugar, sprinkles
I luckily don't have any allergies, but at the same time, that means my parents can drag me to have all sorts of weird foods 🙃

I'm allergic to salmon, cod, whities, shrimp , and everything else that swims!

Except tuna, I can eat tuna!

I've found the Starkissed ranch tuna packs are surprisingly good, I used to avoid it in the pantry until hunger won me over because everyone else ate the other packs. The ginger one is better though.

You guys gotta stop sleeing on asparagus. It is a TOP TIER vegetable if you cook it right.

Also this might be a bit embarrassing but I am 22 and cooked chicken for the first time last month. I've been too scared of giving myself salmonella to try it before then. I'm lowkey a pro at it now though but I still need a meat thermometer to check the internal temp lol.
