Autumnfalls
"In the middle of a mountainous region covered by boreal forests, lives the Autumnfalls pack. Wolves of different colors and personalities live here. Occasional friction is part of the daily life of any large pack... But overall, there is good harmony among these wolves. Here, all wolves, regardless of their position, receive the respect they deserve.
Adsartha, the first alpha of this pack, came from distant lands in search of a place to call home, and she found it among these mountains. It was autumn when she first saw the place, and the colorful leaves were falling lazily from the trees, many falling in a small waterfall that ran down the rocks. Seeing such a festival of colors, and the sweet sound of the water, she named her new pack Autumnfalls.
Little by little, other wolves were accepted by her to join her new home. Adsartha welcomed them without caring about their past, as long as they acted with respect and loyalty.."
Some of the dynamics that occur in this pack:
- Pregnant and lactating mothers are the first to feed, as are the weaned pups. Next come the elder wolves, followed by the nannies, and only then the other members of the group.
- The council does not have feeding privileges; they feed with the other adult wolves. The leader (Adsartha) prefers to start feeding when everyone else is already eating, to ensure that everyone eats what they need without feeling they should give her a larger portion.
- Mortality occurs, especially among puppies (and especially during cold seasons). Therefore, it is customary for them to receive a provisional name when they are born - the 'puppy name' - and only when they reach adolescence do they receive their definitive name.
- Pup names are chosen according to the season in which the wolves were born. Spring (male) or Flower (female); Summer (male) or Berry (female); Autumn (male) or Leaf (female); Winter (male) or hail(female) Ex: Springfang, Redflower, Summerclaw, Sweetberry, Autumnwind, Warmleaf, Winterhowl, Grayhail
- When they reach adolescence and they choose the path they want to follow (to be a hunter, a warrior, a herbalist, etc.), a ceremony is held in which all members of the pack are present, and the alpha and the council announce the young wolf's new name.
- It's the job of the adolescents and newly adult wolves to check on the elder wolves to see if they need anything. They bring food to their cave for those who are no longer very mobile, and they are the ones who keep the elders' cave clean.
About this pack:
- Wolves with a lock (and the pack leader) have a story in the bio! They are simple, but I have fun writing them.
- No inbreeding here! If there happens to be a wolf like this here, there will be a warning in the footnote, and the reason for it being here in the bio.
- I started the game this year (July 2024), I'm still learning, and taking things slowly.
- In the Wanderers' Den there are wolves available for adoption!
To keep it organized for myself, the wolves here have symbols in the footnote with some meanings, making it easier to look for a specific one:
- π€I base; π II base; π III base; π€ special base;
- π in a pairbond; πΌ romantic personality; π» friendly personality; π΄stoic personality; π΅ agressive personality;
- π‘ common NBW; π΄ chased NBW; π£ adopted with the bear or in another pack; β« bought in the trades; π’ born in the pack;
- π« children or descendants of the current breeding male.
- β° any patche; π° any piebald; π» letal mutation ; βΏ disabled mutation (ex: deafness); πΈ any base mutation (ex: melanism)
Obs: Wanderers'Den has its own caption, and is explained in the cave description <3
