After SacredMoon's passing, Ash will take her place as the alpha of his pack. With the responsibility of keeping around him in order, and safe, Ash will take the name of AshMoon.

Pack lore:
The wolf was curious by the dim blue glow that leaked from the cave entrance. She trotted towards the opening. A large, white bear with glowing fur seamed to guard a sort of crystal that lit the cave. The bear swung a paw at the wolf, flinging her into a wall. She crashed down and landed in a pool of blood. As she struggled to get back to her feet, the bear walked towards her. On last strike and the wolf was dead. Her vision had faded to black and, after some time, blue and purple speckles flew in circles around her. She looked down at her paws. They had faded into blue glowing wisps like that of a ghost. A bright flash of gold enticed her to turn around. There stood the crystal, engulfing her into a golden ray. She collapsed. When her eyes opened, she looked down at her paws. Fur and skin. She scanned the cave around her. The bear was gone, but the crystal looked untouched. But she was sure that she was somehow still alive. Then, she realized that her wounds had been healed. She had no idea what had just happened, but somehow she knew that she was now the guardian of the crystal. She knew that she had been given another life.

Most wolves have to make their way up the ranks to get to a position they want higher up (skipping mentor, BM, or herbalist if they want), however if a wolf is an apprentice for a wolf of a rank they can become that rank when they become a year and a half (with the exception of the leader).
Naming:
Wolves who are in a higher rank than a hunter will have a suffix added to their name. The alpha's suffix will always be moon. Dead Wolves will also have the suffix of moon. Sometimes a wolf will be given a suffix as an adol or pup if they stand out er something.
Heirs:
An heir will be selected out of the leader's first litter. While the heir is growing into an adult wolf, an emergency heir will be selected to take the place of the heir if something happens to the leader during this time. If the heir leaves or dies for whatever reason, a new heir will be selected. This new heir will have to be one of the leader's oldest surviving pups. The only time an heir can be an adopted pup is if the leader's only surviving pups are adopted. However, all of this goes down the drain if the leader has a female pup in a newer litter and all males in older ones. Sometimes a wolf can overthrow the leader, if this happens the leader will be retired and the wolf who overthrew it will become the new leader.
Herbalist:
The herbalist is the wisest of the pack. The herbalist is expected to have 1 litter just after becoming the herbalist, then never again. (Unless they have good pups for me) The herbalist will sometimes be asked to adopt wolves for the pack so they are expected to have a pair-bond even though they may not have bio pups.
"Retired" Wolves:
After a wolf is old enough to become a mentor they will be excused from all jobs other then mentor and allowed to rest in the nursery with the puppies or in their own den just for elderly wolves (once I have enough materials to create one) After 7 and a half years of age, the wolves will be excused from being a mentor and allowed to spend their final years just resting. The only wolf that this doesn't apply to is the leader.
