Penumbran Pack
Quick Note
For now, I do not have a dedicated travelers' cave. So, if none of my wolves are sick, the travelers are placed in the Quarantine Cave, AKA Feather Cave! :] If a wolf gets sick while travelers are in the Quarantine Cave, the healthy travelers will be placed in the Pupsitter Cave (Rose Cave) to make room for the sick wolf!
Pack Intro
When Venus and Pluto got kicked out of their former pack for being lesbians, they set out to create a pack of ragtag wolves who would all stick together, regardless of their differences. And so, after a few days of traversing the forests, they ended up finding the perfect spot to stay. This pack lives by the Mitrikíagápi Lake (AKA the Cool Waters, Moon's Mirror, or Lake of Many Names), a lake filled with pure water which they use for spiritual and recreational purposes.
Spirituality
The wolves of the Penumbran Pack believe in a pack which operates as an afterlife for pups/adolescents who died young and wolves who did their tasks in their pack nobly, called the Pack of Cool Waters. They tend to linger by the Mitrikíagápi Lake, so still-living wolves tend to use the waters to communicate to their deceased loved ones.
The leader of this afterlife-pack is Cilios, the Penumbran God of the Afterlife. He is a melanistic wolf God, while his sister (Aione, Penumbran Goddess of Life) is an albino wolf Goddess. (I am still developing deities for the Penumbran Pack, so more may be added in the future.)
If you are a wolf who dies without having done your tasks for the pack nobly, you are reincarnated as a pup to give you an opportunity to work for your pack.
They believe that wolves with "unnatural" coloring are descended from deities. These wolves will have the 🌠 emoji on their footnotes.
