Loopis Pack
As you amble past a large boulder, you freeze, spotting a collection of wolves huddled under the protection of an outcrop of rocks. Beside you comes a deep snarl that catches you unawares. In the semi-darkness you can just about make out a figure with bared teeth. Once you explain you mean no harm and introduce yourself, the muscles in his shoulders loosen a little. He introduces himself as Couver, the leader of this pack.
"You can stay awhile, if you like. But stay away from the pups."
A small, nomadic pack living on the border of Alaska and British Columbia, members of Loopis have carved a small territory in the barren wastes of the glacier.
Founded by a female, Juneau, the pack has grown rapidly since her son took over leadership after her death.

The Packs
Split into multiple, smaller packs across a large territory, the Loopis Pack is made up of multiple families working together under the rule of one Main Pack, headed by Juneau.
The Glacial Erratic
A rocky outcrop that provides enough shelter from the rain and wind, Buckland and his mate Koyuk have settled here in hopes of starting their own family. Unfortunately for them, they have yet to produce a single pup of their own.
The Old Oak
The Old Oak and its den - nestled between the tree roots - is the original stomping grounds of the core 8 members of that founded the Loopis pack. Now it only houses Juneau, her mate and offspring, and any unpaired or pup-less members.
The Quarantine Cave
Originally only inhabited by Diomede, the pack's only Herbalist has now moved in his mate, Ketchikan, and his three steppups in the hope that at least one of the young ones will take an interest in herbs and healing the sick.
The Thicket
A dense tangle of thorns and brush is where Kodiak and Atka made their home when they were expecting their long awaited first litter of pups. Although crushed by the loss of 3 of their 4 little ones, the ticket has turned out to be the perfect space to raise their little whirlwind, Noorvik.
Hierarchy:
The pack started off with 8 original members, so each member was given a "surname" based on the role they play, which corresponds to their rank within the pack. Anyone descended from these original 8, inheriting the surname of their highest ranking parent, is considered the pack's version of nobility. Everyone else in the pack not descended from the original 8 are considered non-royals. Each rank also comes with important, specific roles that the wolf (and therefore their descendants) must fulfil, and will be bred specifically for, so, in order of importance:
1. Prime = Pack Leader
2. Sage = Herbalist
3. Stalker = Stalker, Runner = Chaser, Chaser = Chaser, Finisher = Finisher; Hunter = Chaser
4. Scout = Scouting
5. Ward = Pupsitting
Whilst other wolves can help fill these roles (save the pack leader), the burden of responsibility falls mostly to these families.
Key for wolves:
👑 - Line of succession. 👑1 = 1st in line; 👑2 = second in line.
❌ - Non-breeding.
🔥⭐️☯️♥️ - aggressive, friendly, stoic, and romantic personalities respectively.
