It's hard to stay positive in a world where packs look for specific traits or strong pups, but the then only nick-named 'Ruddy', now properly named ColibrÃ, had her hopes rewarded the day Symone visited Mother Bear's enclave, and zoned in on the unasuming and barely weaned puppy.
Buyan has been dealing with her empty nest since her triplets finally became adults, and Tern - while indiferent towards having children of their own or not - did not know how to comfort the poor mother. They ushered the girl right to Buyan's side almost as soon as Symone had introduced her to the pack.
It is rare to see Tern smile, but the grin on their face was unmistakeable when Buyan urged them to give 'Ruddy' a proper name, something to linger in the Stonefangs from their own pack long left behind. Colibrà was a fitting name from the get-go, a small, feisty bird that zips and zooms full of energy just as their new troublemaker, and a sweet reminder of Tern's own mother, who once honored her name before the pup.

Once more, Tern must spread their wings and fly across the land alongside Alkaid, grant Symone eyes well beyond the mountains. However, the hunting party must not be left unattended... And Tern has the perfect candidate.
They have never been much of a parent figure to Irena, as they had met Buyan's litter grown and chubby puppies with opinions of their own, but ever had Tern fended for and loved them as their own even if they struggled to show it. Now it was time to come out of their comfort zone and show love towards them that they could doubtlessly understand. Whatever words Tern and Irena have shared... She now acts as the first hunting party's finisher.
