The Hidden Basin
A cave with a small entrance, surrounded by bushes and tall grass. The mouth is decorated with only two logs leaning on each other's tips in the shape of an upside down V, with the undergrowth around and now over them left to grow as it may. The floor is naturally padded with what looks like a cousin of redwood sorrel or clover, with small round leaves growing from the soft, moist ground. The reason for this lies deeper inside the cave, where a small brook rushes from one eroded hole in the wall to another, offering the Stonefangs a clean, easily accessible resource of freshwater. While the river is no threat to adults or adolescents, the wolves have made the water's exit a little smaller with some rocks, to avoid losing any curious puppies into the black abyss the water disappears into. Most carcasses are brought to the Hidden Basin to safekeep, later picked clean by the pack and the bones left here until needed to play with. The Sick Den also gets turtle shells of water here for sick wolves to keep them hydrated.
-Some Hunters and Scouts choose to sleep in the Hidden Basin to keep their food safe or because they nap right after a good meal and a tall drink of water once home from vigorous activity.
