Hollow Hollows X WolfClaw Shifters

Delicate hooves carried her body as Mavis trotted angelically, head high and ears alert to any sort of sound that could be a threat. The slight temptation to go off and find Jewel prodded at her mind, but she happily remained with her original plan when she noticed that she would have enough time to sit in the small clearing before the sun dipped below the horizon. Tucking her long legs under her body, she lowered herself onto the matted grass and old leaves, allowing the last few rays to warm her brown pelt, speckled with small flakes of a lighter shade, a result of her hair dye experiment.

Jewel was feeling cold by this time as the sun was turning into the moon " time to go back tot he cabin and sleep in human form" she chuckled to herself as she headed back tot he cabin. When she reached the cabin she went in and carefully closed the door in case Mavis was in and headed for the bedroom once more.  She slid into the warm bed and slowly drifted off to sleep. 

Mavis closed her eyes for a short while, fighting off a drowsy feeling as her head bobbed ever so slightly. Only once the warmth left her thin pelt and she began to shake, did she look about again. Groaning, she pulled herself off the ground and lazily made her way back. She was quite happy that whomever had been out with a gun earlier didn't stick around and take advantage of her calm state. She shifted back into her human form as she approached the warmth of her home and slipped inside, rubbing the goosebumps growing on her limbs.

Jewel was in her human form awake on the bed. Little did she know that Mavis was walking into the home in human form. 

(replies are gonna be short for a bit.)

Mavis entered her cabin once more, glancing around and finding a lack of another presence in the main room she presumed that Jewel was still out and about. A heavy sigh escaped her as she gathered her mortar and pestle, filling it with a few dried plants as she began to grind them into a fine paste once more. "What am I going to do..?" She muttered to herself, pondering her situation with the other shifter who seemed to be in some sort of trouble.

Jewel was  then out of the room and headed to the kitchen to grab food before walking back out and went for yet, another walk. She felt in peace with the world.  She saw some hunters out, but didnt  let them see her.

Mavis offered a small, awkward smile once she noticed that Jewel had indeed returned already. Retreating back into her thoughts, she mulled over her small worried as she crushed the herbs. She couldn't help but be concerned that whatever incident that had been haunting Jewel might rear it's face once more and cause them both an issue. It was only a matter of time before someone visited her home and would make her come up with some sort of explanation for suddenly having company. Still she couldn't bring herself to ask her to leave, both because she was still injured and she couldn't work up the nerve to voice her concern.

Jewel watched the hunters with patience " i will get them one day." she said to herself. She wanted to shift into her other form, but decided against it.  She headed to her own home... very close to one of the hunters home and went inside. She took off the bandage that Mavis  wrapped around her leg and let it breath for a bit.

The truth was that she dated one of the hunters, but wouldnt let Mavis know. Until time was right

"Welcome back." Mavis chimed, glancing over at Jewel as she pealed away the cloth that covered her limb. With an observatory look, she smiled triumphantly. "The wound's looking better. Does it hurt at all?" She questioned sweetly, unaware of the secret being kept from her. Placing a small plastic cover over the stone bowl, she turned her attention fully to her house guess and gazed at her injury. "It doesn't seem like an infection's setting in, but you could always soak it for good measure."

Jewel blushed. " No it doesnt hurt one bit. But yeah.. I  could go for a nice... long.. bath" she said between yawns. She had a long day ahead of her. " Being outside really did help me. Being around humans.. that is. " she glanced away from Mavis before sighing again " I gotta go back tomorrow and see what else is new" she hoped that her little secret wouldnt spill.
