Grayfoot reigned with a gentle demeanor and saw her loyalties multiply. Shortly before her fourth year, she died with mysteries unsolved--murdered in cold blood by her son, Swiftflame, the first male Lykaon, who claimed a Mandate from Heaven as his right to the throne. During his reign, he conquered his neighbors and grew his territory. Darkness seemed to fall over the land with whispers that gods walked upon the earth once more. These gods came to the earth to right the wrongs of Lykaon Swiftflame by understanding the mortal wolves and giving birth to a wind spirit whose mortal body and righteous fury would be able to stand against Lykaon Swiftflame.
Her name was Etesian, and she took back the land of her long forgotten sister. After defeating Lykaon Swiftflame in battle, she took the name Lykaon Etesian. It is unknown if Lykaon Etesian killed or kept him prisoner in the magma catacombs beneath Red Ridge. With the help of the lava and sky, the mountainside of Red Ridge was engulfed by molten rock and renewed once more. It would take her lifetime to heal the wounds inflicted on the land by the last Lykaon, but surely she would be up to the task.
Note: Lykaon is a title and not a name. When a wolf takes on the title Lykaon, they lose their last name, if they had one at all.

Hella no. I don't have time for that. I just write when I feel like it and as wolves appear! I didn't even intend to write lore in the first place, but I needed to justify (to myself) why so many pups were being chased.
How did you come up with this story? How can I write a story like this?
I basically write whatever comes to me. Say you have a wolf that just appears in your pack one day (like you bought it or whatever), how did they get there? What do they like? How does that connect to your overall lore? I started playing this game and called my pack Red Ridge because I like the color red and my pack started out in the mountains, later I wanted to know "Why are they called the Red Ridge mountains?" which lead to the introduction of volcanos... and then mystical spirity things! Go wherever your imagination leads~
Is Lykaon Swiftflame evil?
Yes and no. Did he do bad things? Yes. Did he believe it was for the good of the pack? Absolutely. Did he do some things that ultimately made the pack better? Yup. Was he punished fairly in the end? It depends on who you ask and how you feel about the weird megalomaniac.
